Flashback Friday...Merry Merry Month of May

Yours truly has a birthday in May.  Addy picked out my cake, she was so excited!

Prego Picture. 3 weeks before Cohen was born

Anybody know where Addy is?

We had a family outing up to the cabin for memorial day.  Zac and Addy are best pals.  (Zac pre-haircut)

Addy loves Aaron and Annie!

Zac likes the couch...(post haircut...we could have made a wig)

Addy likes to play hide and seek! Where is she now?

I think one of Addy's favorite things to do this summer was go outside and play with the hose.  She helped Seth wash his car and wash the sidewalk a lot.

Flashback Friday...The month of April

Since I am so behind with blogging and I want to stay current with what is happening in our lives right now and not constantly have to back-track, I have decided to do a series of "flashback" posts which will feature important milestones and events I would like to journal about.

The month of April was eventful.  Highlights for us included:

1) Coloring Easter Eggs/Easter
2) Boy baby shower
3) Flexleg business plan Competitions for Seth
4) BYU MBA GRADUATION!
5) Many friend get-togethers and socials

1) EASTER

Addy colored Easter eggs with her uncle Stockton and cousin Owen

Easter dress!

2) BABY SHOWER
Super cute baby boy shower that my friends from the BYU program threw for me

 3) BUSINESS COMPETITIONS

Seth has been working with a start-up company for a year now called Flexleg.  It is a hands-free alternative to crutches.  Really cool device, check it out at flexleg.com!  He was not only crazy busy with school but traveled to 5 or 6 different business plan competitions at different schools throughout the country.  He placed in the top 3 in nearly all of them!

There was a "fan favorite" vote at the Wake Forest competition that he won thanks to many friends and family voting every hour!

One of Seth's lifetime bucket list items was to get a big check.  He achieved his goal multiple times!  I am so proud of him and the hard work he has put in to this company.

4) BYU MBA GRADUATION

Addy and I made chocolate chip cookies for Seth one the last day of school.  We are so proud of him! It's so great to know that both Seth and I have achieved high levels of educations.  It has been a huge investment on our part, with finances as well as time.  One or both of us has been in school since we met 10 years ago.  HUGE accomplishment to finally be completely FINISHED!

The graduate!

Seth's brother, Scott graduated at the same time with a Master's in Accounting

Addy and Anthony look the way we all felt! Graduations are LOOOOONG!

 4) FRIENDS FRIENDS FRIENDS

Since most of our friends from the program are scattered throughout the United States at various jobs, we had to get as much time with them as possible before everyone moved.  Thus, there were gatherings and socials all month long! We miss our friends!

Seth's "core" group from his first year.

I don't know what was so funny...

 Softball game

 Jumping for joy...?

We went to Hang time in Orem, which is a huge trampoline type place.  Addy was very cautious at first, but warmed up and got adventurous by the end of it. She loved jumping into the foam squares

We met up with Seth's brother Scott and wife Cassie at Trafalga and had fun miniature golfing.
